Enroll your children in any of our three different camps for fun operatic adventures! Students entering Grades 3 through 12 in the fall of 2012 are invited to attend. Each unique program is tailored to a different age group or performance focus.
The Opera Experience
June 4-8, 2012
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Thursday)
9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Friday)
Registration Fee: $200
For student entering grades 4-9 in the fall of 2012.
Develop a better understanding of healthy singing and improve music reading/theory skills by performing songs from Broadway-style repertoire.
Create an Opera - Alice in Wonderland
June 11-15, 2012
9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Thursday)
9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Friday)
Registration Fee: $200
For students entering grades 3-6 in the fall of 2012.
Write words…compose music…design and build sets, props and costumes…and PERFORM! Students will create their own masterpiece based on a popular children’s storybook.
The Art of Opera - A Midsummer Night's Dream
June 18-29, 2012
June 18-28, 2012, 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (Monday-Friday)
June 29, 2012, 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Registration Fee: $300
For students entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2012.
Enhance vocal and dramatic skills in a fully-staged opera or music theater work. A recommendation letter is required from a choir director or voice teacher.
*Auditions for leading roles will be held in May, more information to come.
**Scholarships are available upon request.
