The ultimate field trip! Join us for one of our student only performances of Madame Butterfly. Come experience the magic of opera at the Wortham Theater Center.
Madame Butterfly
At her wedding to Lieutenant B.F. Pinkerton the Geisha, Cio-Cio-San promises to be his for life; just three years alter, abandoned and on the verge of poverty she and her young son wait with fierce hope for his return.
Sung in Italian with English Surtitles
Teachers will receive a study guide to help them prepare their students for the opera. We can give additoinal help by providing a free presentaton on Madame Butterfly by one of our HGO guild docents.
For grades 4-8:
A dramatic, two-hour version of Madame Butterfly, adapted for young students. All tickets are $10.

A full-length weeknight performance of Madame Butterfly, one of the most famous operas of all time. Tickets range from $12.25 - $27.25.

Tickets on sale at www.HGOco.org beginning September 10, 2010 at 9:00 AM. No refunds or exchanges once reservations have been made. Reservations must be paid for in full 2 weeks prior to the performance date.
